Gpay is a one-touch checkout experience that works seamlessly both at physical points of sale and digital shopping carts.
Like all things Google, GPay was designed to be efficient (it’s instrumented with only a few lines of code). Which means video content for its I/O keynote needed to act likewise.
So instead of a smug, stemwinding video that wastes a developer’s time with phony rapport, we got out of our own way and just told the simplest, most direct path to instrumentation.
